Our staff are Mr Hawkins and Miss Cunningham.

Hello, we are Amethyst Class. We really enjoy school life and working together as one big team. This year so far we have learnt about lots of different things. We really enjoyed learning about The Great Plague and visiting the village of Eyam and learning about the village’s story. We also had a very exciting visit from the AMRC who told us all about electricity and we got make some really cool circuits!

In our class we always try our best. We work hard to follow the 3 golden school rules. Ready, Respect, Safe! We love to put the badges we designed on to the recognition board when we are showing our school rules.  We always work hard and try to get as many dojos as we can so we can have our Christmas reward which is watching a Christmas film and eating lots of different delicious treats!

We are all trying to get better at something. One of our class targets is to improve our fluency in Maths. We work hard at this and practise lots of sums whenever there is a spare minute. But we think that we are already really good at art because it is our favourite lesson. We love using different paints and creating some brilliant art work.

Our favourite sport is football. We love to play during active play times and are all looking forward to when we do it in P.E. We love fit in 15 because it gets our hearts pumping and it is really fun.

We have loved reading Children of Winter together at Wath Victoria, and we all love to read our favourite books independently! Some of our favourite Authors are David Walliams, Michael Morpurgo

Roald Dahl and JK Rowling.
