Moonstones Class F2

Hello, we are Moonstones Class. We really enjoy all the different activities we have in our class, particularly  playing with our friends, creating masterpieces, and exploring outside (including looking after our new chickens). This year so far we have learnt all about traditional tales. We have also learnt in depth about the numbers to five and are working hard to develop our reading and writing skills.

In our class we are always ready, respectful and safe. We work on the different characteristics of effective learners.

We are all trying to get better at segmenting and blending in phonics but think that we are already really good at listening to stories. We know we are good at this because we can then answer questions about the texts.

Our favourite sports are gymnastics and running because we enjoy doing these with our friends.

We have loved reading traditional tale, Jack and the Beanstalk and our book of the month, Pirate and his smelly feet at Wath Victoria, and we would really like to read Rainbow Fish before we leave this school.

In this class, we are ambitious; here are some of the jobs we would like to do when we are older: doctors, teachers, vets and police officers.

Our teachers are Mr Kaskiewicz, Mrs Bisatt and Mrs Foster.

Our teaching assistant is Mrs Howlett.

We have been writing some letters to Father Christmas and decided to visit Wath Post Office to learn how to send them using Royal Mail.
